Tony and I recorded these, er, 'songs' in one day in 1984 or thereabouts direct to cassette when I was living in a house in Sweetman St, Red Hill, Brisbane. Tony had come up from Sydney for a visit and I took the day off work and cashed in my change jar to buy beer and gin. We both got pretty hammered and the result is this rather odd collection of, um, pieces.
It was never released at the time but we did have a title for it - 'Mower Love' and a band name 'Two Stroke poke' or '2/Poke'. We also played live once at the Vulcan Hotel in Sydney as 2/Poke - I don't think I was well behaved.
Believe it or not, given what is available here, two 'songs' were so awful I couldn't bring myself to include them in this digital download release.
