This release is fully "pirated". Tracks are taken from the Abstract Avenue album called "Audio Port".http://www.archive.org/details/lego002The "vinyl version" distributed on Hard Wax possibly contained "slowed down" tracks recorded from 33 speed (at the time when 45 speed is required).http://hardwax.com/60129/Review in Russian (Abstract Avenue is a project by the Russian author) regarding this release published on "prolix music" website.http://prolixear.ru/aphex_twin_unreleased_promo_dec_04-album2176.html

Definitely not Aphex.Sounds more like Boards of Canada and AFX (hangable auto bulb era) made with softsynths in Ableton 8.Not bad stuff though. Just wish the guy would come out with his own shit, ya know?

"The Voight-Kampff is a polygraph-like machine used by Blade Runners to assist in the testing of an individual to determine if he or she is a replicant."...In this case, if one believes this to be"Abstract Avenue", then the listener may be an android.

Unfortunately this record sounds like it was made in Ableton 8. There's a reason you probably (hopefully) only paid $20 for it.I will say that there is good music on this, but I just wish the person would come out and put his own name on it. I'm actually still glad I bought this though, because it's a pretty rare 500 copy pressing and kind of a joke for aphex enthusiasts.

Either Limemould is the person who made this fake aphex release to begin with or they need an ear exam. This sounds absolutely nothing like aphex twin and it's obvious to anyone who has listened to 1-2 of his lps. Please do not bother downloading this unless you like listening to fake aphex twin derivative music.
FEISKO
Aphex Twin isn't out to please people or make a cohesive EP. Richard D. James just does what he does best: create and put together sounds and twiddle the knobs. What he makes is unlike anything else. It evokes emotion and imagery, excitement and relaxation. This EP is packed with more detail and ideas than whole music careers. He does it all himself, and he's like a mad genius amusing himself, then releasing bits for us. For all those who can't understand the harder, "unlistenable" songs... try listening to them in the same way you observe some scientific phenomena, like you are analyzing some strange organism under a microscope. There are lots of cool intricate patterns in these songs; you just have to concentrate to hear them.
