The Bass is inaudible on my version. I don't know what it is. Which is a big problem as Kiki Midorikawa is the Bass player (one of the best). I also found this problem on Gary Peacock's Denon Label album....so it must be the Denon Label pitching what is commonly known as........"Goose Eggs".....
