Anyone else a little disappointed by this record? And doesn't that album art look like a total rip-off of IDIB album covers?I kept waiting to get into it, but after two full spins...there just isn't anything to this record. No interesting sounds, no actual music really. These tracks feel like Hook & Pull Gang album rejects. I was hoping that DW Originals would be a bit more interesting than just whatever these two guys can pump-out. At least there is Pye Corner to look forward to, and hopefully another Night Satan one day!

I agree with oblivion, sounds sick and heavy to me. Great album! Probably not my favorite Umberto to date, but very enjoyable.

Not at all. Love the record from start to finish. Reminds me of early dark industrial...driving, pummeling, hypnotic. Gives my woofers a real workout, too. This pressing sounds amazing on my system.And I don't think that the cover looks like an After Dark rip-off by any means. The hand parting the blinds, with the police lights outside, is very conceptual, and very different different from the style of the After Dark comp covers.
