This record epitomizes the deep/soulful sound that evolved out of the 90's in the early aughts in NYC. One of the first Shelter anthems at the 39th st. location after it moved from Club Vinyl. Timmy Regisford would run this record multiple times through out the night and morning when it was fresh, always filling the floor. Ambrosia's reserved vocal style is rich, it's earnest lyrics appropriate. The track is driven by an infectious baseline, both bouncy and funky. A jazzy rhythm guitar accents the groove. This is real post garage house music, with an uplifting message of introspection meant for early Sunday morning dance floors.
