I have to admit that I absolutely love Under The Westway - it's a beautiful and wistful ballad that sounds very heartfelt. It's easily up there with their best work I think. I can't say the same for The Purtian though. It seems to be popular enough with other fans but for me it's just a bit too frantic and I'm not a big lover of the melody. In saying that though, if this is the last release Blur ever put out (I hope it isn't though) then Under The Westway is a fine way to bow out indeed.

Blur have always been rather experimental with some of their b-sides. Under The Westway is without doubt an Albarn song (a very good one at that).The Puritan (which I also like) sounds to me like a Graham Coxon song sung by Damon. Listen to it and imagine Graham singing...
