The release code indicates this album was scheduled for January 1974 release in Australia. It was "rush released" in November 1973 to capture Christmas sales.
In the matrix runout area the RCA Indianapolis pressing plant marker ('I') can be seen, indicating that RCA Australia used plates sent over from US Indianapolis plant. The Australian issue sounds tonally similar to the US issue.The Italian 1980 reissues come with Tan Labels.First CD release of 'Pinups', originally released in October 1973 (UK, RCA RS 1003).
The disc of this edition is Made in USA, thus different to Bowie - Pinups.
