And this is what's written on the CD: "People have been asking us to re-issue Rites of Passage for a while now, but unfortunately even after remastering we were still unsatisfied with the sound quality and didn't feel comfortable selling it to you. Released only on cassette in the Spring of 2000 by Rhymesayers Entertainment, Rites of Passage was completely self produced & recorded by Brother Ali under extreme circumstances in the Summer of '98. So here you are, free of charge, remastered & featuring 2 bonus tracks not originally included on the album. Enjoy, or not."
