I was putting the final touches to a new album, a follow on from my previous releases: A Haunting Sun & A Deconstructed Sun, when I was sidetracked by the sudden demise of one of our cats, Meg.
As with our other cats, she is a 'rescue-cat', a stray we took in and nursed back to a good state of health. Sadly, only 6 months after her arrival, she's been diagnosed with a terminal condition; inoperable tumours in her right lung.
I've been around cats my entire life, I have an affinity with them, and I love their company.
This EP is for her…
