For Christian Morgenstern's second compilation of Kanzleramt tracks, THE FUTURE IS ON FIRE, PT. 2, he keeps the techno slightly tropical with a case of "Malaria" before the techno reasserts itself en force with ""The Future Is On Fire Pt. 2" and the glistening "Miscellaneous Pt. 4." "Miscellaneous Pt. 9" has a definite dub techno influence with its synth pads, which leads to the deep and subdued "Gem Club Pt. 4." "El Topo" returns to the more tribal percussion to lead into the mellow cascades of "Miscellaneous Pt. 15." A solid outing, if nothing really mind-blowing.
