This is a great collection of Christopher Just's music-works of the last years, composed with his typical style of a mixture of positive heavyweight bass sounds old school lovers from time to time discovering known sounds sampled or reconstructed from the golden tracks of a past era. Just knows the balancing act between not totally loosing the roots and to be open to new sounds and music developments. Even a bit of the strenght of Ilsa Gold could be noticed - for example in the Countryside track which is maybe the hardest track on here, unfortunately a bit short.
Music lovers have to split between Just and Ilsa Gold: If you expect powerful and yelling 303 lines and hardcore elements like the 909 bassdrums and typical sounds of the early years you are wrong with this but if you have respect into Just's more younger works, you won't be dissapointed: the tracks appearing on here are mostly better than the up to date played tracks in most of the clubs...
...possibly it was a Just track you freaked out last night in the club...
