2007 saw the release of 'The Desire Path', still many peoples favorite Lloyd Tucker album. The Desire Path is perhaps more conventional in its arrangements and production. Indeed it contains guitar solos, not heard on his records since Songs of Life, Love & Liquid over ten years previously and like that album it's the songs that do the talking. Short acoustic ditties are interspersed with longer, rockier tracks and a cover of Excerpt From A Teenage Opera is thrown in for good measure. For reasons unknown Samphire Records chose not to send out a single copy for review, a bazaar move as The Desire Path is one of Colin's more accessible albums and finds him on top form.
