This issue has the MainMan publishing credit on the labels but there is no mention, or logo, on the sleeve, there is no HH price code nor 'Stereo' tagged labels. This could be an interim pressing. There is another interim pressing which still includes the 'Stereo' tag on the labels, as on the 1st pressing, & with 'Mainman' publishing credits on the labels but not the sleeve.Post-Dec '72 issue with Mainman logo on back of sleeve.
Not RCA logo on the upper left corner on back of sleeveAlbum Cover printed dark.
Green Vinyl. Other colours may be available.
No barcode. The album was recorded at Trident Studios, London, 9 July 1971 - 4 February 1972 using material from the sessions for the previous album 'Hunky Dory' ('It Ain't Easy', July 9, 1971), all other tracks being recorded between November 8, 1971 and February 4, 1972.

First UK issue. Includes printed lyric inner. Initial copies came with a single sheet insert promoting the current tour which started on 2 June 1972 running through until 25th June 1972. Identifying features include Titanic Music publishing credit and no Mainman logo on the back of the sleeve. Later issues have a Mainman publishing credit instead of Titanic and include a Mainman logo on the rear of the sleeve.

Front cover of this issue has derived from US artwork, and the RCA Victor logo and US catalogue number have been pasted over. It is possible to discern a large rectangular cover over, on which the UK details are placed on top of. Look for lines that break./ not continuous. (Not to be confused with second issue cover, where JUST the catalogue number has been covered over and changed.)

First and second Category on cover and label, third on inner sleeve.
