This is an absolutely phenomenal album. The liner notes compare it to Pat Metheny's Bright Size Life which is seemingly a bizarre connection but is actually spot on (more in terms of Lord's idiosyncratic approach than sound per se). This guy is a really original voice in jazz guitar. Highly, highly recommended.
