Notes
Co-founded by Kier Kirby a.k.a. Lady Miss Kier and Dmitry Brill a.k.a Supa Dj Dmitry in 1986. Towa was invited to join the group as 1/3 of the production company . Deee-lite was a fusion of funk , techno, house, and electro. They were signed to ELEKTRA a.k.a. NEGLEKTRA records in 1990 , and by a fluke , after the release of "The Hitmen" , a book about radio payola, an influential radio programmer in San francisco put them on the top 40 playlist . The song "Groove is in the heart" , the b-side, took to the radio like wildfire . The label president made it clear he thought the band was "too gay" to promote and refused tour support and additional releases to radio . The dominating MTV monopoly at the time, first labeled Deee-lite as "one hit wonders" when Lady Kier made a ruckus when asked to lip-sync on their dance show and after RollingStone mentioned the controversy , the record label complied .4-page booklet but inside pages are blank.Track 2-6 incorrectly listed as "How Do You Say... Love (A Delicious Joey Pal Dub)".
