Liner notes : "Denis's first album to be released on his CANEFF77 outlet, before he started using the Canada Effervescent moniker. First demos were recorded in 1971 after a trip across the Northern territories with fellow musician Will Blake. Both are of Cree descent and used various traditional songs (Siksika, Tlingit, Ojibwe...) as inspirations. "
