Notes
The compilation was released as a collaborative effort between Bain Total from France and Viva Magazine from Italy and released on Plasma Tapes.
Viva 9 had the subtitle "Presence De La Musique" and was limited to 250 stamp-numbered copies.
It consists of a offset printed folder 32 x 22 cm that contained in its complete form:
- A 4-page 32 x 22 cm insert about Joy Division written in italian by Sandro Bergamo.
- A 4-page 22 x 32 cm insert called "L'Invitation Au Suicide" written in italian by Sandro Bergamo.
- A 4-page 32 x 22 cm insert about the label Bain Total written in italian by Claudio Di Giambattista, complete with a full catalog of all Bain Total releases till then.
- A postcard with a photo and a text on the backside "Orizzonti della transparenza" in italian by Enrico di Fontainebleau
- Various Bain Total stickers
- An Errata page.
The item was sold in later Bain Total catalogues as K.18 "Best of" Die Form & Eva Johanna Reichstag with the Viva magazine.
Track B2 is an exceprt of track "Absolute Time".
