At first listen, some of the arrangements of Phynn's remix should sound starkly familiar to his earlier remix of Ernesto vs. Bastian - Who's The Starter, only everything sounds multiple times more professional and pronounced here. Clearly, his talent was going through a serious breakthrough phase during 2003 and 2004. Phynn uses an abrasive high-pitched distorted shriek sound, as I can best describe it, that is also audible in his version of Fictivision vs. Phynn - Escape. This synth, which stands out so strongly, gives the song a furious, spitfire edge to it. The female vocals are present, but so elusive and scattered throughout that the track almost sounds like a complete instrumental. The vocals, then, just add a hypnotic backdrop, a stealthy technique on Phynn's part, while the real action is transparently at the frantic synth works, strong percussive instruments, and deep rolling basslines. During the chorus, you notice the twisted, but straightforward, melody sort of startup at a continuous pace, before suddenly changing up to a more intricate arpeggio. A brilliant, brilliant release.

A very cohesive set of remixes; this release is entirely trance music. The Dynamic Sense remix uses an interesting drum piece to get started, but beyond that the track relies on a common ratio of vocals, pounding bass, melodies and synth to create a very bread-and-butter trance rendition of Stop 9.5. Though not too inventive, it is easy on the ears. The Christo remix also starts with a drum twist, but focuses more on a distorted synth line that carries the track in a slightly darker direction. The Phynn remix is the gem on this release, standing out from the rest. This remix is founded upon bass and percussion marginally more captivating than the other mixes. But this version hits the peak of the track then takes off. The soaring and twisting sounds take the catchy melody of Stop 9.5 to another level. All of the tracks rely on the original melody making them at least enjoyable, but the Phynn remix solidifies this as a firm trance release.
