Enough has been said about mechanics, dope track. love the super-compressed amen on it, which gives the break a lot of character.Prisms almost matches the darkness of mechanics and is really fun to mix with, especially once the lasers come in. v reminiscent of metropolis which is never a bad thing. Sadly the bassline detracts from the darkness built up in the intro/first section a fair bit, has more of a chilled out vibe than a menacing one and doesnt match the rest of the track so well.Still a must cop, especially at the price it regularly goes for on here

A stunning tune by the amen lord! 'Mechanics' is a haunting track that stays in your mind long after the needle has left the groove. It starts with eerie atmospherics that will have you looking over your shoulder before the amen's kick in which takes the tune to great heights. This was one of the first records i ever bought and one i shall always cherish. 10/10
