It look like they used a CD to cut this issue. Especially on B3 ("send some love"), on my copy I can hear a "click" that sounds clearly like a crackled CD to me from the biguinig of the second verse to the bridge of the song.. If it is so, i am really disapointed 'cause i know this album was analalog recorded, so the sound should be pretty better than this... Although i have to say that the pressing itself is really good... But to have the sound of a cd cut into a vinyl record, even if this record is 180gr and all that... i prefer listen to the CD itself.

I was very excited to to find that this fantastic album was getting reissued on vinyl and I was not disappointed when I finally got my hands on a copy. The quality of the pressing is excellent all around. Of course, it would have been nice to have a gatefold jacket, since even the “Exerpts from Welcome” from 2001 had a gatefold jacket for a 3 song teaser, but that is just a nitpick. The two nice heavyweight vinyl LPs are well mastered and have no background noise. The songs sound full and well rounded with no notable end groove distortion even though two of the four sides get fairly close to the center label. Definitely worth buying for any DBII fan. They sold out fast on their merch page, but I was told that they are pressing more. I ordered a copy from them 7 months ago and am still waiting for it, so I bought a copy on discogs in the meantime. Hopefully the excitement that this reissue stirred up will get the ball rolling on reissues of DBII’s other albums and maybe some Arc Angels if we are really lucky.
