E.B.E. - Square One FLAC

Lovely US production that fits nicely in to the concept of 'tech-house', though I'm never sure if tech-house was generally a UK centric term that wasn't used so much elsewhere. Either way, this is a 4/4 driven EP that straddles house and techno... A1-Ether just needs to be listened to. Wait for the bouncy funk of the bassline to hit you. I shall say no more :) A2-Sole is another 4/4 floor pleaser for the discerning clubber, but the groove is a much more deeper affair. Again, has to be listened to. The B side is where it gets serious... B1-Lucidity opens with a driving bass pulse that lets you know what you're facing. A computer-like screech/bleep loop is then teased about with some deft multi band filter work that then opens up in to sophisticated jackin riff that keeps you flying for the rest of the (10 minute long) track. Gotta love epic journeys. B2-Sole II rounds the EP off with a melodic smile inducing hands in the air dance-out number. Great EP.
