Dangerous
There are two tracks that really stand out on the 6 pack EP.

The Player is a quality A2 track, dark Speedcore that makes good use of a Hip House beat and eventually a Doomcore style riff that sounds great over the relentless 250 bpm kicks and fast Hi-Hats.

B Grade could be contender for pièce de résistance of Bloody Fist Records. It starts off with a Sydney DJ and/or promoter suggesting Newcastle Hardcore are a bunch of girls. I always found that weird, since DJ Daydream was one of the big Sydney Hardcore DJs at the time. With a deep dark atmosphere there's an unbelievably horrid vocal sample from the 1990 movie, The Exorcist III. This builds up to a kick arse darkcore melody which is really the guts of the track. This leads into uptempo drum patterns, loud hi-hats and a Horror movie styled sound.

In fact all the tracks on this vinyl has old school Science Fiction sound effects, which makes sense since Ryan Leeman was making regular trips to the local Video Ezy (a defunct Australian Video Rental Store.) 0 Degrees Kelvin is absolute zero in terms of temperature. The Celsius and Fahrenheit scales are defined so that absolute zero is −273.15 °C or −459.67 °F. Considering how cold these tracks are, it's a fitting name. In case you didn't know, copy and paste from the fantastic Bloody Fist bandcamp page:

One lost weekday afternoon at the back end of 1998, a terse telephone call took place in Newcastle, Australia between an office located on King St and an errant teenager's bedroom in the Newcastle suburb of North Lambton.
'Hi mate, it's Mark'
'Hi'
'Been listening to a cassette copy of that DAT we recorded last week...'
'Yep'
'Sounding pretty hectic! Just sent it off for mastering, and the Germans are already hassling me for label artwork..'
'Yep'
'Well um... got any suggestions?'
'Nup'
'So you're cool with the usual combination of cut and paste mess and my childlike handwriting?'
'Yep'
'Erm... ok.. what about a title?'
'Dunno..'
'You want me to name it then?'
'Yeah it's just a matter of convenience... look I gotta go'
'Righto mate well I'll talk to....'

Steel balls
The demonic Ryan Leeman returns with six tracks of mayhem. Back in the day his “This Means Fucking War” release set a standard for depravity that is still held in high regard. “A Matter Of Convenience” features infinitely higher production values, but fails to show much evolution in his composing. While his previous work was ahead of the pack, this one sees him neck and neck with the producers that have followed his lead.
