I am neither a big fan of this era of Fleetwood Mac or collecting live bootlegs, but I am from Connecticut and have been to Trod Nossel Studios a bunch of times. Knowing the lore of the concert series, the Andrew Oldham connection and of the local gems that have come out of there, I kind of had to have this. I'm also sort of a sucker for Ms. Legendary Christine Perfect, so figured this would be worth it for the live intimate version of Over My head. I was not let down with this at all. The band is on and it's exciting to hear them in their prime or actually, at their start of this incarnation.Another popular bootleg also from 1975 in Connecticut is in fact called "Who's the New Girl" in reference to Stevie Nicks recently joining the band. The songs sound fresh and new. Raw and rocking versions of tunes like Rhiannon are welcomed to remind you these are great songs. It's exciting to hear them played with such intensity. Lindsay Buckingham brings his own flare on Mac classics like World Turning, Green Manalshi and Oh Well and on new ones like the aforementioned Rhiannon. The Danny Kirwan tune Station Man from the Kiln House Lp is also a rocking mellow affair. Like I said, this is an intimate recording. There's bits of audience participation, little slips and just plain old fun and rock and roll. Trod Nossel is a friendly inviting kind of place. It's a recording studio, not a venue. This must have been a special night.One other note, Side 2 of this record contains Peter Green Versions of Green Manalishi, World in Harmony and Homework. I'm pretty sure the Green Manalishi and World in Harmony are from the UK Single. The Version of Homework could be from Blues Jam in Chicago Vol. 2, it is lo-fi and chopped at the end, so I am unsure of its source.

Nice review and I welcome your changes / additions. I bought this record when it was released and I have never heard a better version of Rhiannon since. It's raw, uncomplicated and very intense. I have always wondered why there were two versions of The Green Manalishi on it, but hey, it's a bootleg... Your review explains this. The record gives a nice insight of the area before FM became such a huge act.
