The most under rated Numan album of all time, which saw his fall from commercial success. It is however one of his most solid albums and almost 40 years later, remains a true classic and one of my most played Numan albums. Stand out tracks, A subway called you, cry the clock said, stories and night talk. Perhaps when released the album could have had the more uplifting songs on one side and the ambient ones on the other side. However, that's just picking and while I enjoy the order of the album ,playing as separate styles between ambient and more uplifting electronic, may have brought the album more commercial success and perhaps understood more.
