Orgelshtick is released as part of a series of performances at The Gutter/David Risley Gallery in Copenhagen, Minibar in Stockholm, and Kunstraum in London, during the fall of 2014.

“The reduction of an organ to digital noise. The reduction of a requiem to a conversation piece. Provoking not much more than a continuous stream of words. An effect not entirely different from stuffing two fingers into one’s own throat and throwing up bile. Choking on a V-sign. Turning oneself inside out. Spitting out the result. Music is a physical thing, sound waves resonating through air, through solid matter, through the human body. But in this case we are dealing with the most basic of physical reactions. To reject what one is fed. To feed back. To utter in the gutter.”
