Holger Czukay will always change. We can find places along his road to stop and marvel at what was left behind, and Movies is a precious stone indeed. He is often under the dry label of Krautrock or the frightening "experimental" label. The truth is he's a master of dub. He's a cut and paste man who often fills in his own blanks with his own instrumentals on guitar, french horn, treated instruments, short wave radio reception or his original axe, the bass guitar. A very happy German who will make you smile. Expand your mind, get Movies. And if you like it, get the vastly under rated Good Morning Story (1999) which is playful in many of the same ways. If there is any justice in the world, Holger's music will out live us all.
