Humpty Dumpty - What A Nerve You Have..... FLAC

This is what i consider a weird record for different reasons- first of all the cover, second the music, third the evolution of the band. First thing first : it looks like a crust record BUT it's not - although it has some elements of crust (the recording is straight up raw, noisy and pissed - as you can see by the pun on the song title "So The Youth" it has the same drumming/recording style of the SKEPTIX...played almost in a LIFE fashion. See also = really fast) it's basically Street punk. The vocals reminds me of a more obnoxious and angry version of EXTINCT GOVERNMENT. The record in itself is good, a bit redundant in some places, but still good. The evolution of the band basically added more meat on it's already rancid bones of music they menaged to record. The EP is more of the same raw shit played with more enthusiasm and polished recording - the first LP is basically a fastcore version of what it's been written before : the only difference is in more tigh musicianship and the vocals. I've read somewhere they changed at some point into a skinhead/oi band... dunno if we're talking about the same band, either way, good band. Worth a listen.
