A further 66 releases later since Compost released ‘A New Beginning’ and we get the first release off the album ‘Intuit’ (April 2004) and it’s worth the wait. The one that searched for the Sun, Xantoné Blacq, remixes ‘Planet Birth’ and takes Andy Bey to the broken limits of outta space. It ends with the phrase “You be born again”. 'Bubblin Jam' takes us back in time to the fusion days and features Ray Obiedo on guitar and Doug Carn on horns; a groovy funk instrumental. The b-side is more Andy Bey. This time ‘Western Sunrise” remixed by Toshio Matsuura (UFO/Fantasista). High-speed jazz dance on the broken edge. All three worthy tracks in their own rights.
