Jark Prongo - Interdox FLAC

I own 2 copies of this. One since it came out and the other since about 10 years ago. Both were in mint condition when I bought them. Around a minute before the second breakdown in Spadet, the needle jumps back (like a lock groove) same place in both copies. The second copy I applied a bit of pressure with the needle thinking maybe it could solve the problem but all I got was groove collaps and a fucked record :( Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem?

I have the same problem! I think the track might be cut like that as far back as in the production, I doubt it is a pressing error.

This is an influential release that still to this day is timeless. The tracks themselves wander around minimal melodies and weave a new spell on a future style. A mix of classy house elements and tech insights, all 3 tracks chime in at 130 bpm's. A lovely and stunning release for it's time. The songs contains elements that have yet to be explored fully. It can be mixed into any moody mix set and is very DJ friendly. Something to seek out, check out and look for. Seldom seen and worth every penny you spend on it.

If you ever have the chance to find this single, take it. René ter Horst & Gaston Steenkist seems to have drunk from the Detroit sounds influences: 'Spadet' was even choosen by Kevin Saunderson on his X-Mix: Transmission From Deep Space Radio. This is a beautiful tune, with a harmonical, melodic bassline, organ simulated note sequences, textures and lovely bells. Surely one of the best tracks of the duo.
