Jute had a fretboard converted to quartertones ... which allows for some very alien-sounding metal. I've been listening to this repeatedly, becoming familiar with initially foreign chord progressions, then blissfully drowning in the chaos facilitated by this sonic environment. I recommend this to anyone who loves difficult listening generally and black metal specifically. It's otherworldly.
