2Black City (Black And Proud)

Notes

Funky early reggae.
Apart from handwritten "Black City" and a rubber-stamper that says: "Mudie's Elec ..." on A the labels do not show any credits.
Seems to be quite likely that this was distributed in Jamaica by Harry Mudie (who had studied electronics and photography in the UK).
Vocal on A, B plays the instrumental version.
RKR "unknowns list" credits this to K. G. All Stars.

"makes it even more valuable"? You don't know for certain that it was Lee Perry and even if it was that fact alone does not make it more valuable. The value of a record is only what someone is prepared to pay for it at that moment in time. That's why 'price guides' are so misleading. Just because someone paid £££ for a record does not automatically make the next copy 'worth' £££ That record may have had sentimental value to the buyer so he/she was prepared to pay anything to have it. The next person may actually really like the tune but can't find it anywhere else, so again may be prepared to pay more. The next person after that may never even have heard the tune but after reading all this hype might think he/she then needs to own the next copy. And so it goes on. People, don't get caught up in all the hype nonsense surrounding records. Just do your research, know what you're buying and why you are buying it. Happy collecting!

i investigated it some more, To mho it is Niney & The Destroyers - "Black City" with some Perry involvement concerning funding this pressing's run. Or the same funding as some Perry releases. BTW it isnt tiger listen to his songs.

Dyna KG in the matrix number was only used by Lee Perry. It isnt blood city by niney that title doenst excist. KG All Stars never heard of. So judging by the only hard evidence it is a Lee Perry produced track.that makes it even more valuable.
