Weird to think Kode IV was an EBM outfit just a couple years before this release. There's barely any similarity between this and the Kode IV of old, except Peter's love for samples and snare drums. It really is surreal listening to this album right after listening to 'Insane' from 92. For the most part it doesn't really do it for me but there are a few gems on here worth checking (Myth, Utopia, Eternal Reprise)

Content-wise there's some pretty cool stuff on here, but I have to say it could stand for a total remaster, the production value generally leaves a lot to be desired. But you gotta give it credit for being creative. The addition of goa trance legend Goa Gil lends the album an unusual sound that sometimes works well with Peter's own programming. i'm actually a fan of Peter's "solo" tracks the most but it's a cool flow throughout the disc anyways.

If you're only familiar with Kode IV's sample-laden, repetitive EBM you will be quite surprised to hear this. And if you discoverd Kode IV through Goa Gil's mixes or Ceiba records, you will be equally surprised to hear their roots. Not for everyone but a cool part of history.
