Banal

Shep Pettibone incorporated this excellent and somewhat obscure track into his Mastermixes for NYC's 98.7 KISS FM radio station for a while.

This was a limited, U.K. only pressing, which, due to licensing issues unfortunately, never got a proper U.S. release in spite of the airplay received by one of the very best studio wizards from the Big Apple ever. And this was without a doubt, again, Shep Pettibone.

Hence I do not want to imagine how much better this already great track would have gotten, if it would have received the Shep Pettibone RE-mix treatment in addition. Well, I leave it up to you to fantasize about it ????.

Anyway, grab this 12" while you still can. Especially if it is in NM/NM condition since most copies available nowadays seem to be in poor shape. Leesha Paradise's "Waiting" still sounds as fresh and cool today as it did back in 1983. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
