This story is about William Friese Greene and was Written by Richard Paul Robinson, this was a low budget film filmed for as a jellymixx project the shoot took place and was filmed on location at London's Highgate Cemetery Swains Lane,filming happened during May 2010, this film was directed by Barry Cummings & Roger Limb - produced by jellymixx for jellymixx film productions.
Outlining the story - The Highgate Cemetery is a very famous cemetry Located in North West of London it is located in the borough of Camden, London, England, and is very near to Hampstead Heath. This quaint English cemetery was built in 1836 during the reign of HM Queen Victoria, the Cemetery is split into two separate Sections, we have the oldest part known as the West Cemetery Consecrated in 1836. l can safely say that the West cemetery is now full to capacity for commercial new burials. However the newer of the two the The East Cemetery has limited plots available but are very very expensive.The grounds of both cemeteries we believe to have interred an Estimated 160,000 bodies to date. The burial grounds are spread over 26 acres of land. and Since the demise of the London Cemetery Company after the 1/2 world wars both sites have never been the same since, closure soon followed and Following it's closure for a number of years this Victorian cemetery was left derelict and vandalized and in a rather overgrown state. It now has new owners 'the friends of Highgate Cemetery' and has been given another chance for the public to see probably one of the most famous of the magnificent Victorian cemeteries ever to have been built in London, which also happens to be the final resting place of ' Karl Marks'. About This project it was filmed during MAY/JUNE 2010 and was planned to cover only the west cemetery located as you go to the top of the hill known as Swains Lane.until you reach the cemetery going through the main gates into a vast court yard as you arrive on site.
