This is by far the best sounding Metallica ever.Just the way "...And Justice For All" should have been recorded/mixed/edited etc.Their best selling album that skyrocketed them into stardom (the black one) is a very pale shade of what they are doing here.Just enough roughness and sloppyness that they are lacking completely on the forementioned one is the key. I guess they have been trying to re-revisit it many times and failed miserably in every sense of this word! R.I.P.

You must be young. :) When CDs first came out, long boxes were the standard. I guess it was so they would fit in the existing bins used for records. All the extra packaging was pretty annoying at the time, but it is cool that they used it for this release since that is how it was originally packaged.
