About the group:
The Midwest Mountaineers started forming approximately three years ago, when they decided to have a jam session for their own enjoyment. As time passed, Duane was contacted by a rest home for the elderly asking the group to preform. They were very well received and it became a regular monthly occasion. From this, opportunity came in the form of concerts and stage shows in the Southern Michigan area. Their audiences soon began to requst recordings of their type of music. The support of a very special fan inspired the Mountaineers, Stan, Russ, Dick, and Duane thank all of you who made this album a reality.
