These are excellent recordings. I’ve never heard a Misfits record with such a wide sound stage and open sound. These sound like live studio cuts, all the energy and rawness is there while still retaining a somewhat clean and polished sound. Never heard the Misfits sound this good to be honest. Too bad this is an unofficial release because these really are some of the best recorded versions of these songs. Punchy drums, fat low end, crunchy guitar, present vocals. An expansive and dynamic mix. The version of London Dungeon is insane. It’s like a supercharged, runaway big-rig demolishing everything in its path. Danzig’s vocals are energetic and on point, you can tell he’s giving it his all. Quality pressing, flat, centered, dead quiet. Really happy I stumbled upon this one. Mine is numbered 97/116 written in red ink on the lower right back cover
