SWARM – Embryonic Tomb
Wrapped in a fog of static noise, this vicious warmachine blasts off at supersonic speed tearing through everything in it's way, leaving nothing but into maroon clouds of mud and intestines, bombarding anything in it's way.

The first track is a somewhat overstrung affair, while the second track is the strongest track on the record sounding like a sea at riot exploding in a gory fog of delirious blast-beat complimented by butchered pig-squeals searing of energy and catchy riffs, reminding me of some of the stuff Siege did, with some somewhat melodic breaks in the chorus.

The final track kicks your front door off the hinges and spawns in same nature as an unpleasant weekend in the hands of the Spanish Inquisition, screaming high pitched screams of gall-smothered accusations before dragging you down in some dark, moist torture pit reeking of mold, decay and seared human flesh and start the slow paced torture on your heretic ass before you are pulled out to take your final travel to the scaffold through dark, piss-soaked streets, smothered in mud, rut, decay and feces, on a gloomy, rain groggy sabbath of death...

Vocalist Tiago still delivers some of the most twisted butchery on the human vocabulary I have ever heard, sounding somewhat like painfully spewing hell spawn one second, turning into butchered pig-squeals of desperation the next as he screams out misanthropic curses about the sick state of being human.

All in all a fast-paced, 3 tracked intestine-smothered, blood gargling and cannibalistic butchery of a misanthropic EP mixing crustcore and grind with a hint of plague black melodies!
Play it loud and enjoy with a side of corpse cold beer and hard liqueur of choice!

MÄRESVIN – Laws of Modern Thrash

This 7 tracked EP of a blitzkrieg symphony blasts off in a delirious thunderstorm and beats your brains to mushy pulp with bombardments of blastbeast, flu catchy riffs and gall-gargling vocals with snotty verses, thus unleashing Märesvin's “Revenge of the Underdogs” with an irradiated mutant army going out on a Godzilla-scaled havoc against the world.
Wrapped in an electric fur of static noise and explosive beats these beasts wreck everything getting in the way – that being shitty days, commercial music or even entire armies daring to stand up to Märesvin's wicked style.
...which is a basically hard powerviolence with a heavy dose thrash.
This genre blend of violent powerviolence and cocky thrash moves in fluent waves (at mach speed) and strikes you somewhat like getting your ass handed to yourself by a meth-driven shaolin monk breaking your bones, at around 1000 BPM, does.

A couple of the songs are about embracing (your local) DIY-scene (“Dödsmaskinen! YEAH!”, haha) and otherwise the lyrics are dealing with themes such as shitty reality-TV, shitty days, shitty overprized thrash and how fucking awesome it is being a part of Märesvin...

Being more into thrash than grindcore and powerviolence I find the strongest tracks of the EP being Laws of Modern Thrash (Fuck Them!) and Ghouls of Nordvest (the latter being a dedication to long, drunk and fucked up nights of extreme music and fucked up people at the probably best overall venue in Copenhagen).

A great way having a fucking blast while destroy the remains of functional hearing!
