A sublime rare-groove 2 step killer track taken from the ultra rare disco/funk LP recorded in Brazil in 1978 - featuring the sweet vocals of soul/disco singer Valarie Lipford or Valerie Jean, aka Valerie Ford and later a member of (Philly Cream)

'One man at a time' 7" version is different to the LP version, and of the two, the LP version is better imo.

Seems as though a single came out a year prior to the LP release with the same track/s. It could be because the LP was apparently recorded in Brazil and a different mix of the aforementioned track may of been recorded?New Love Ltd - Universal Funk / One Man At A Time - Arco Records Very rare deep funk release out of Brunswick, Georgia. This is the same band that released the "So Much To Talk About" LP. This 45 contains a completely different version of Universal Funk and has the ballad One Man At A Time on the flip which is not on the LP. Check the soundfiles.Condition is a visual VG- but it plays better than it looks. (Source Popsike)

iwc62 "Universal Funk" is different than the LP version. Unsure about "One Man At A Time". The label/studio also has a US address, so probably recorded in the US.
