Nirvana - Recorded Live At The Palaghiaccio, Rome - February 22nd, 1994 FLAC

This is an amazing quality Nirvana Bootleg, probably one of the clearest I've ever heard! At times it actually sounds better than some official releases of live concerts that I've heard in the past.

A couple of downsides to this release is that it is around the point when Kurt's performance was definitely deteriorating and it definitely shows. It doesn't ruin the show though, just makes it more unique. It's the type of sloppiness that can only do justice to the mad sound of "In Utero", which definitely translates distinctively to the performance. The other flaw with the album is that the tracklisting from B4 to B8 is incorrect, here is the actual order:

Scentless apprentice doesn't show up anywhere on the album unfortunately.

The Highlights of the album are definitely the killer feedback-ridden performances of Serve the Servants, Come as you are, In Bloom and Pennyroyal tea! The quieter performances of Dumb and Polly with Cello Accompaniment from Krist sounds really good too! One last nice little tidbit from this show is when the band actually spots a man in the audience with a tape recorder and either krist or dave (can't quite tell) does a funny, overly sarcastic speech on the evils of music and merchandise piracy.

Overall, this is definitely a super top notch bootleg recording. Good enough for regular joes to die hard fans. Its a blast!
