Notes from the CD liner written by Oliver Ho about each of the tracks on this release:
Westworld: This track was inspired by a giant building that could be seen from my studio, across its side, the word, emblazened in yellow - 'Westworld'. This reflected my surroundings, living in London, the life of a big city, the technology and energy that this creates.
In The Dark: This is taken from an EP titled 'Nightlife'. It embodies the power and ritual-potential of the night.
Running: Some people call it the 'Gait of Power'. Physical motion that lifts us to another world.
Westworld (Remix): Taking the basic elements of the original, I wanted to make a more smoother melodic version.
Metaphysical: One of the heaviest tracks I have made. It symbolises the heavy matter of the physical world compared with the abstract/quantum/spiritual.
Epsilon Orionis: This is the name of the centre star in Orion's Belt. A star that is both significant to me and and the contruction of the pyramids.
In The Centre Of Paradise: Paradise/Utopia, a superficial perfection that starts to become threatening to its inhabitants.
Palace (Slight Return): I wanted to make something truly melodic that conveyed beauty. A dedication to the majestic power of purity.
Mutate And Survive (Oliver Ho Version): Taken from an EP I did with James Ruskin. Based around the idea of taking a simple foundation and mutating it into various hybrids (both musically and theoretically).
From Modern To Ancient: Inspired by the depth and knowledge of ancient cultures and the idea of modernity. What is modern? All modern ideas have their genesis in the past.
Relic: Discovering something that has absorbed significance through its use and origin.
Seduced: The art of drawing minds into your world.
Magic (Remix): This track originally appears on 'Listening To The Voice Inside'. This is one of four remixed versions all ultimately to be released.
