Here we go again… third time round me thinks, still you can't hold a good tune down, and this is exactly that. There's two twelves currently in circulation - one features some pretty def UK garage mixes by AT&T, the other a house and hard-house mix aside by Pussy 2000 and Skynet respectively. Taking the first outta the equation, the Skynet mix will appeal to those who favour the sounds of the Gold/Jules - updating the beats after hijack the groove and adding a plethora of quirky drum fills, synth pads and textured rhythms to Ferdy's muscular vocals. But for me it's those Pussy people who've created a melody and percussion that's vintage garage drenched with chords lifted straight from a classic Morales Red Zone mix. Swirls with funky melodrama and caressing layers of keyboards, lazily soulful backing, tight beats and top draw percussion make it a delight from beginning-to-end.
