Pierre Henry's "Le Voyage (The fantastic Journey from Death to Life- An electronic score based on the Tibetan Book of The Dead)": I dont know about the rest of you folks, but I see this as a true masterpiece of electronic music. The concept, the story, etc, combined with the incredibly imaginative use of sound manipulation is overwhelmingly beautiful and humbling (as a composer). Its a giant overall experience. And, I might add, as one gets closer and closer to their own "finish line" it makes one think. A LOT.

The 'Tibetan Book of the Dead' is its own experience, and knowing it along side this work makes it quite a deep experience. Not knowing the Tibetan Book of the Dead wont necessarily diminish one's enjoyment of this work, but it would help a great deal in visualizing the concepts as sound-stories.
