Notes

Original Japan market release which was actually a USA issue imported by Polydor K.K for early sale in Japan before they could produce a "proper" domestic pressing, which eventually came out in March. It was packaged in Japan with a triangle/corner obi. This lower price "import" was sold by Polydor K.K. for ¥2900 around ¥900 lower than the eventual domestic release and a little higher than most independent shops that sold imports. Rainbow had since broken up and had fallen out of popularity with fans in Japan so Polydor KK wasn't really planning on a domestic release until after the overwhelming reception of this direct import release version. Also this was distributed in proper record shops as a way to deter people who couldn't wait for domestic release from buying cheaper grey market imports from independent shops that sold imports. The funny thing about this is the triangle obi has areas that are blacked out with magic marker. Polydor jumped the gun in printing the obi. They originally thought that the vinyl version would have 15 tracks and Street Of Dreams would be included. So you can see where they blacked out "15 tracks" and "Street of Dreams". As we all know, Street of Dreams was included on the cassette version, not the vinyl version.
