This is an ambient, environmental electroacoustic work that, once set into motion, takes on a life of its own.

This is one of my favourite albums, although it's understandably obscure. It's a little bit like Thomas Koner, essentially a long swoopy echoey drone that sounds like mechanical insects trapped in an air ventilator on the surface of a giant metal moon, but it's less self-consciously doom-laden and has a floatier sound. It has aged a lot better than other early-mid-90s ambient music. It works very well as a background atmosphere. Of note it's also available on iTunes; I have the iTunes version; the iTunes version is credited to Chris Meloche and is a single track that runs for 1:13:20 with a different cover. Chris Meloche also released "Urban Myth 2" in 1996 which presumably has more of the same.

Excerpt from originally played as a six hours long 'sleep concerto' on a radio, edited to fit on a CD. Good for listening in the background while doing your everyday work. Quite a nice soundscape, though.
