I got this album just because of Spanish Bull. What an awesome techno track and good memories !

I remember that when I first saw this release I was disgusted by its cover, almost laughing and thinking: "What the hell is this? Sexdrops? Oh com' on." But then I saw the Disko B logo and more importantly the name of Regis on the back cover and thought: "Really? The Regis?". As it happens I eventually I bought this and haven't looked back on my decision. If you are familiar with Regis "mono techno" sound you know what to expect. Hard hitting, rhythm driven techno. No vocals, no big time chords, hands in the air moments. No. Just pure techno mayhem. While to most people that whole "mono techno" sound is the best part of this release, it raises some questions for me. First of all, this album does sound a bit too much one trick pony. Too monotonic, that is. Secondly, this is actually too much Regis sounding for me. It credits Regis only as a producer but it sounds like he has written, mixed and produced the whole album, not the main artist. Maybe I'm too critical and this is not a bad record by all means. No, this is proper techno banger which its trademark "mono techno" sound being its best and worst selling point.

greed style

I have a deep love for this release. Tracks are stripped down and arranged for maximum effectiveness and maintain a very strong 'thousand yard stare' mood. Works just as well as music for the head as it does as indispensable additions to your record box. Pet Teaser is an excellent frozen mood piece, Do it Let's Boogie is infectiously rhythmic and Blue sex drops will plain blow the top of your head off. All tracks work really well although I never really liked Spanish Bull all that much. I may have to buy a fresh copy my vinyl is spent.

Coiwield

No kidding- "Blue Sexdrops", on a loud system, tears the house down. It's become one of my favorite- at least top 5- hard techno tracks. I remember tracking down Mike Dearborn frantically after a set he did a while back and was glad I did.

The rest of the double pack is pretty good but not spectacular.
