1960....pop music was thriving, but rock and roll was dead. Ricky followed suit and his work sounds less like an up and coming rock and roller and more like a singer for his dad's orchestra.

This song is forgettable pop. Like his idol Elvis, Rick always turned out nice product. "Hello, Mary Lou", "Travelin' Man", "Fools Rush In". But too much of his material during the early sixties is Ozzie Nelson music. Sad to see Ricky with lame material suitable for The Fabians, the Rydells. They may have been teen idols but they weren't 'rock' stars and there was nothing vaguely dangerous about them.
