Rob Zombie - Astro-Creep: 2000 Live FLAC

I may be biased, but this is a great show! I was there in the front row actually (you can see me on the back of the record). I've seen Rob many times and he seemed particularly invigorated for this show even though he was under pressure to be off the stage by a certain time. He actually cut Blood, Milk, and Sky short to squeeze in a few solo hits. But not only do I remember this show being one of his best, this live recording sounds fantastic and is definitely worth snagging. It's way better than the last live record he put out for sure.

Hey - I was there, too - which made this one a must-buy. I agree, it was a fantastic performance - but - as a record, I was disappointed that all of the banter was edited out. The end result is too close to the original recording and lacks that "live" distinction for me. I am sure there's no general demand but I would gladly shell out for an unedited double-LP complete with all comments and the quick hits coda (and let's get a pic in the artwork of Jerry Only egging fans on from the adjacent curtain!). This one would have made a fantastic DVD as well as I thought, visually, it was richer than some of his non-festival shows I have seen.

wow thanx for the insight ghebert001 that helps nothing? If you haven't heard it, why say anything? But I guess opinions are like...... everybody has one. Sounds fine to me, great to hear john 5 play these tracks and one after another doesn't sound like they took a break for the most part.

He has a point although the tracks I’ve heard seem a little too well done almost fake

While I haven't heard this particular live performance, I just can't stand Zombie live...he often messes up and/or slurs words in his songs when performing live.
