Here's an album that should be in everyone's record library, country music fans or not. I should note that this is more of a crooner's album rather from a country album, even though many of the songs listed are country songs. But Roy Clark's take on those songs causes them to stand out among the other crooner-cover-songs albums.

The "Tips of my Fingers" may be the renown hit, but so is another showstopper hit "Sally was a Good Old Girl". "Johnny Goofed" is a swinging take on the song "Frankie and Johnny" and "Spooky Movies" sounds like a pop novelty song that concludes the album. The others are refreshing takes on cover songs.

If crooning albums are your genre or you just like Roy Clark, then this album is for you.
