Love Me

A stone-cold piece of buried treasure in the St Et catalogue. This is up there with Built on Sand and More Words and Music as one of their very best "other" albums, but unique among those as having such a consistent sound. It's a strong hint at what was to come next in Sound of Water, with its bleepy electronic structures, lush strings and looser song layouts. But for my money the best track here, The Way I Fell for You, tops anything on either Sound of Water or Good Humor, the mighty records that bookended The Misadventures.
